- Account Information: When you register as a landlord, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Property & Tenant Details: We store details about the properties you manage (e.g., house numbers, rent rates) and the names and phone numbers of the tenants you assign to those properties.
- Payment Data: To match M-Pesa rent payments automatically, we process transaction data (such as transaction codes, amounts, timestamps, and sender names) received when tenants make payments.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to operate, maintain, and improve the rent tracking utility:
- To match M-Pesa payments to your designated properties and tenants automatically.
- To compile clear rental reports, receipt logs, and financial summaries for your landlord dashboard.
- To send automated rent receipts and notifications to your tenants on your behalf.
- To prevent fraud, secure our platform, and resolve software bugs or payment discrepancies.
Note: We will never sell, lease, or share your personal data or your tenants' information with third-party advertisers or marketers.

- Transit Encryption: All data sent between your browser and our servers is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL/TLS).
- Storage Encryption: Databases containing your account details, tenant configurations, and rent records are encrypted at rest.
- Restricted Access: Only you (via secure authentication) and authorized platform developers (strictly for support and system maintenance) can access your workspace data.
5. Your Choices & Rights
You have control over the data you save in Nidamiye:
- You can view, edit, or delete tenant and property records directly from your account dashboard at any time.
- You can request a full export of your transaction history or property details.
- If you decide to close your Nidamiye account, you can request that all your saved property and tenant data be permanently erased from our active databases.
