The rules for using Nidamiye safely and fairly.
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using the Nidamiye website and services, you agree to follow and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these rules, you may not use our services.
2. Your Account responsibilities
To use our platform, you will need to register an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of your login password.
- Accept full responsibility for all activities, data updates, and settings performed under your account.
3. Fair & Acceptable Use
Nidamiye is built to simplify property management for Kenyan landlords. We expect all users to operate safely and respect the integrity of the platform. You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal activities or to store unauthorized, fraudulent records.
- Attempt to bypass, hack, or test vulnerabilities in our security layers.
- Reverse-engineer or scrap data from the platform using automated scripts or tools.
- Harass, mislead, or send spam notifications to tenants via the automated receipt messaging tools.
4. Landlord & Tenant Data Rules
As a landlord, you are responsible for the property logs, rent expectations, and tenant details you enter into the system:
- Consent: You must ensure you have the explicit consent of your tenants before saving their names and phone numbers in Nidamiye or sending them automated SMS/M-Pesa receipts.
- Accuracy: We match payments based on the transaction codes and phone numbers you configure. Ensuring these numbers are correctly assigned is key to smooth operation.
5. Platform Service & M-Pesa Tracking
While we strive to keep our platform running 24/7, Nidamiye is provided "as is":
- Uptime: We perform regular updates to ensure high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted platform access.
- Carrier Delays: Our automated M-Pesa rent tracking relies on instant transaction logging. Delays caused by network providers, cellular carriers, or gateway outages are outside our control, though we will do our best to process queued records quickly once service returns.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nidamiye is an assistant rent-tracking tool designed to help organize data. It does not replace professional accounting, banking, or legal services.
Nidamiye and its parent company, Groundwork Technology, shall not be held liable for any financial losses, tax discrepancies, or tenant disputes resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
7. Terminations & Updates
We reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use the platform after modifications are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
